Did you know that every September, SAMHSA sponsors Recovery Month to increase awareness and understanding of mental health and substance use disorders as well as to celebrate those in recovery?
This year's theme, “Join the Voices for Recovery: Together We Are Stronger” highlights the importance of coming together to make a difference in our communities!
Join us in our region as we celebrate Recovery- look out for walks, exciting trainings, supportive resources, community panels, and luncheons.
To kickoff Recovery Month, let's all send out a huge shoutout to the new Recovery Support Specialists (RSS) who graduated this past month and are pumped to begin their journey. Check out Emma & Crystal as they share why they became Recovery Support Specialists and give advice to those who are looking to overcome their personal struggles.
