Park City Career Pathways (PCCP)

We created Park City Career Pathways (PCCP) to engage Bridgeport’s disconnected transitional aged youth, including high school graduates and non-graduates, with community resources, career pathways, and educational opportunities that align with their strengths and interests. We believe in providing an inclusive environment where every young person has the opportunity to thrive and build a bright future, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Our goal is to provide hope to those students who may find themselves at a dead end, helping them see beyond the barriers that stand in the way of their success.

Before enrolling in PCCP, students often disengaged from school. Some have dropped out or been unable to continue, while others struggle to envision a productive future. Even if they may be interested in joining the workforce, they often need to improve their professional and social skills, such as identifying and marketing their strengths, honing their interviewing skills, and writing resumes. Other students may want to attend college, but they may feel overwhelmed by the complicated application process. Some may face additional challenges, such as language barriers, socio-economic hardships, or uncertainty surrounding their parents’ immigration status.
