What is a Recovery Friendly Workplace?
A Recovery Friendly Workplace (RFW) is an effort to reduce workplace stigma surrounding mental health issues and substance use disorder (SUD). Our RFW team helps local businesses earn RFW status by adopting policies and practices that encourage employees with behavioral health issues to ask for help without fear of losing their jobs.
This initiative was developed in partnership with Connecticut’s Departments of Labor, Public Health, and Mental Health and Addiction Services.
Contact the RFW team directly by emailing Jacqueline Calayag at jcalayag@catalystct.org
