The Hub Program Coordinator
Department: The Hub
Work Location: Bridgeport, CT
Status: Full-Time
Salary Range: $52,500 – $65,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
About Catalyst CT | The Hub
The Hub is a Regional Behavioral Health Action Organization (RBHAO) that serves as a vital link between communities and the State of Connecticut. We coordinate regional efforts focused on mental health, suicide prevention, substance misuse, and problem gambling in CT State Region 1.
Position Overview:
Catalyst CT is seeking a Program Coordinator to support and advance behavioral health initiatives across the region, concentrating on tobacco reduction and awareness. This role involves implementing strategic initiatives, fostering community engagement, and ensuring program effectiveness through data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Reporting (50%)
- Track, analyze, and report program data using Salesforce and Mosaix Impact.
- Monitor program performance and ensure compliance with state and regional requirements.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify community gaps and develop strategic plans.
- Prepare reports for stakeholders, including the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS).
Community Engagement & Program Coordination (50%)
- Deliver training and technical assistance to regional coalitions and community partners.
- Plan and execute advocacy initiatives, awareness campaigns, and educational programs.
- Represent Catalyst CT at state, regional, and local meetings, advocating for behavioral health priorities.
- Manage digital communications, ensuring timely and accurate public information.
- Oversee special projects, including programs funded by the JUUL settlement and mini-grant initiatives
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years in community outreach, program coordination, or behavioral health initiatives.
- Strong presentation, communication, and conflict management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, Mosaix Impact) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and virtual collaboration tools.
