Gambling is any activity in which a person risks an item of value, such as money or property, on an event outcome that is determined mostly by chance. Gambling becomes a problem when it interferes with work, school, or other activities, harms mental or physical health, creates financial distress, damages one’s reputation, or causes problems with one’s family or friends. Gaming addiction is a newly recognized disorder. Catalyst CT is dedicated to supporting our communities by addressing behavioral health challenges among children, teenagers, and their families. Together, we strive to foster healthier environments for all those we serve.
