For 40 years, Catalyst CT has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with youth, families, and neighborhoods across Southwestern Connecticut — empowering communities to lead bold, lasting change. We are the only nonprofit provider in Connecticut that combines direct youth work, community education and training, and advocacy because lasting change takes all three. Empower people. Transform communities. That’s what we do.
We meet communities where they are, amplifying the voices that are too often overlooked. We work alongside our neighbors to tackle tough challenges: eliminating gun violence, reducing mental health stigma, and opening doors for youth who deserve better than the school-to-prison pipeline. Guided by community voices, we find data-informed solutions that meet immediate needs, while also building a force of future changemakers.
Advocating for positive change and healthier communities for our youth and families across Connecticut.
Advancing restorative justice to strengthen belonging, accountability, and healthier outcomes for youth and families.
Equipping school staff with restorative practices that build safer, more supportive learning environments.
Empowering neighbors with free naloxone training to prevent opioid overdose and save lives across our Southwestern Connecticut.
Catalyst CT is committed to using data to measure our influence and impact. We collect data that informs our capacity-building, which, in turn, informs our advocacy. By analyzing our data and assessing our programs, we continuously refine our strategies to better serve our communities. The success stories of the lives we touch stand as powerful evidence of our commitment.
Curious about how we’re making a difference? Our program impact reports showcase the tangible results of our work. You can also check out our resource library for more information.
